About the event

ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Jason Choi (headliner) is a New York-based comedian, writer and actor who has been featured in the New York Comedy Festival and Timeout New York. He was a finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival and the New York Comedy Club Fall Invitational, and winner of the 2019 Comedy Mob Festival. He's also appeared at the Asian Comedy Festival, Tiny Cupboard Festival, and will appear at SF Sketchfest 2023. Jason has opened for Ronny Chieng at New York’s Town Hall. You can catch him performing regularly at New York Comedy Club and Stand Up NY. He’s also the 'Angry Sony Fanboy', a minor internet meme of 2006.

Shawn Hollenbach (feature act) is a comedian, storyteller, songwriter, and host. Shawn can currently be seen in “The Mortified Guide,” an official selection at Sundance on Amazon Prime. Shawn was the host of A+E Networks' “BTWN2FLRS”, a celebrity interview show in a working office elevator surprising unsuspecting employees. He also created and hosts “Closet Cases”, a live show at the legendary Stonewall Inn with a companion podcast where LGBTQ+ comedians and storytellers share their coming out and transitioning stories. iHeart Radio called it “A Best LGBTQ Podcast for Millennials.” As a Berkshire County resident, Shawn hosts a local podcast called “The Berksqueers” with Sam Backhaus and recently launched “Magiste” with comedian, Jackie Monahan. As a musical comedian, some of Shawn’s songs include “Double Filter Face” featuring Shea Couleé (RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 5 winner), HGTV House Hunters parody, “I am a House Hunter, Baby” and LogoTV's first viral video and Thanksgiving nightmare, “Twerk Your Turkey.”

Charlie Nadler (host) owes his existence to a TV show; his parents met while writing together on Laverne & Shirley. In 10+ years of performing standup, he has released two albums and told jokes around the world in clubs, colleges, festivals, bars, country clubs, teen centers, basements, attics, and one barber shop. He lives in North Adams, MA where he also develops screenplays and with his wife raises their cats.
